<p>Cooking at home also means bringing your own lunch to work instead of buying it, eating breakfast at home rather than going through the drive-in on the way to work, and bringing your own coffee and tea with you instead of buying a $4 beverage at a local retailer.</p>
<p>It also means bringing your own snacks with you to avoid pricey vending machines and $3 energy bars. So rethink some of the ways you spend money for food, and see where you can make your own.</p>
<p><strong>Fast Food Is Not Necessarily Cheap Food</strong></p>
<p>Okay, so you think you got a deal because you bought dinner for two people for less than $10. But did you know you can cook a meal at home for four people for less than $10? There are resources online to help you plan meals that are healthy, inexpensive, and feed a whole family.</p>
<p>Fast food is not as cheap as it seems at first. <p>An easy place to spend a lot of money without thinking about it is in drinks.
